Randi + Joe | Winter Wedding | Overlook Farms
I’ve tried for quite some time to think of all of the perfect things to say about your wedding day. It’s not every day that your niece, who is more like a sister, gets married to her best friend. It feels like a lot to try and pen the perfect words and capture the day just as it is.
Randi and Joe’s winter wedding happened upon on a cloudy and crisp winter’s day on Overlook Farms, but the excitement and joy from Randi and Joe was evident and cut right through the cold! Randi and her bridal party chatted and reminisced upstairs in the Historic 1860’s Rackheath House as they got ready for the big day. The men, readied themselves just below.
As I looked over the images and thought back on this day, it always circles back love and friendship. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen two people more comfortable with one another – content just to be in the presence of the other. Two people who laugh and smile often and are stronger because of it.
Randi, you were simply graceful in your laced Rebecca Ingram dress and blue ballet flats, but the prettiest thing you wore was your smile. It lights up a room and makes others feel welcomed and loved. Joe, watching you watch your bride was a gift. Most ladies only long to be loved and cared for the way you love and care for Randi. Your contagious joy for one another is inspiring!
Thank you so much for trusting me to capture the start of your lives together.
All my love,
